Q: I was reading the RFP and I was wondering if my company had to be able to perform and deliver ALL exhibits...for example, Homemaker Chore Deliverables and Transportation Deliverables, Legal Deliverables, etc. or if I could do a proposal for one aspect of it...for example, Homemaker Chore Deliverables?
A: Yes, you can submit a proposal for one or more services.
Q: My business plan is a very unique plan in helping the healthcare community and wondered if Exhibit B-7, Other Services Deliverables would apply to my business...does Aging Best give money to businesses that are unique and helping the healthcare industry as it pertains to Agingbest? I didn't quite understand that section. If AgingBest does give to innovate businesses, can you only apply for that particular section?
A: Yes, you can choose to submit a proposal for only an innovative program.
Q: Is it permissible to inquire regarding the total amount of funding that is available for legal services annually through the Aging Best Supportive Services RFP?
A: This year we anticipate spending $15,000, however, there are additional funds available. How much we have for legal services depends on our expenditures for all of our supportive services. If there was concern we were reaching our funding limits, we would notify all vendors.
Q: I currently am not required to have worker’s compensation or bonding but I will be applying for Homemaker/Chore services so am I able to provide that information if approved for services?
Q: I will also apply for Transportation services and currently have independent contracted drivers who are required to have hazard insurance with the (outsourced company), who take care of my on boarding, payroll, I9, etc..so previously I didn’t need this for them. I wanted to make sure this was still the case.
A: As long as you have verification of this information and we can monitor this information, this is sufficient.
